EAGLE-ACCESS B.V. founded on July 29, 2016 by Marco Klitsie and Willem Prins. Since 2003 they have been involved in the development, design and engineering of Offshore access systems. This experience and thorough knowledge of all the ins and outs in this area have resulted in various access systems that are currently active on the market and form the basis of the EAGLE-ACCESS concept.
Analysis of the current Offshore Access Systems shows that these are only partially meet the demands of the current market. EAGLE-ACCESS new approach answers the real needs of the Offshore Access market for now and the future.
Ir. Willem Prins
Graduated from the University of Delft and has more than 40 years of design experience. Owner of the renowned engineering firm Praxis. Extensive experience in crane construction, material handling, production automation, transport systems, etc. In addition, from the very beginning involved in offshore access systems. And involved in a significant part of the current systems in the market.
With over 30 years of experience as a project and program manager but also in commercial functions for the development and implementation of mostly complex Multidisciplinary systems for single items and series. This for various markets such as defense, aviation, aerospace steel industry, nuclear, offshore, Big Science and research institutes. Internationally oriented and experience with different languages, cultures and backgrounds.
At Offshore Solutions in IJmuiden he was responsible for the development and manufacture of the “Next Generation OAS” and has been involved in Offshore access for almost 10 years.
Business Development Manager
30 years of experience in the maritime sector and since 2006 involved in various positions in the development and operation of various offshore access systems at Offshore Solutions B.V. and Ampelmann Operations B.V.
Based on his knowledge in Offshore Access and the current “Walk to work” systems, he currently holds the position of Business Development Manager at EAGLE ACCESS B.V. He is also specialized in project management, maintenance techniques and process management.
